Cades Cove

Sunday we took our annual trip to Cades Cove. I didn't take any pictures of the trees because A) Lucas was out the car seat sitting in my lap and B) since we do go every year ALL the pictures of the trees, old houses, and churches end up looking the same.

Tonight we look Lucas to Boo! At The Zoo. We had fun, but Lucas was more interested in the people watching rather than the animals. It will fun to see him this Spring at the zoo.

The Beach

Two weeks ago we took our first family vacation to Destin, Florida. We broke the 9 hour trip up by stopping the Birmingham to spend a little time with Kealan's family. It made the trip a little easier for Lucas. The beach was perfect! There was hardly anyone there. The weather was great! In the 80s during the day and 60s at night. Our condo was across the street from the beach. Every morning we would wake up to a view of the ocean. It was perfect and relaxing! Lucas loved the beach! He would eat the sand and would crawl right into the ocean. He would just keep going and he would get mad at us when we picked him up. He had no fear! Here are some pictures from the trip.

This was the last day at the beach and Lucas was over it. I wanted a picture of Lucas' name in the sand and he was not happy about it. He was crying so I started singing The Itsy Bitsy Spider so he is doing the motions to the song.

Pots and Pans

Hey Friends! Yes, I know it has been a VERY long time since my last blog. I have been a little busy and not to mention taking pictures of little man lately has been very hard. That boy NEVER sits still and every time I get the camera out he starts to crawl toward me so he can touch the camera. Lucas new thing to do is to play with the pots and pans. So the other day he let me take some pictures of him and I was a very happy Mama.
