12 Before 2012: First Accomplishment

I got one thing done on my list.... hanging the pictures of Lucas' hands and feet. I actually took the pictures back in January. I found some frames I LOVED at Target, but at the time they only had one frame. Every time I went back they were out! I went to Target last week and they had four frames. I was so happy! I hung the pictures up that day.

Project: 12 before 2012

I started making a list of things that needed to get done around the house and I thought I would share it with you. I am really hoping that I can get all the things done before 2012.


1. Start on Lucas first year scrapbook.
2. Change the knobs on Lucas' dresser. (the dresser use to be Kealan's when he was a little boy)
3. Pull the weeds from the flower bed.
4. Paint the master and guest bathroom, the hallway and spare bedroom.
5. Hang the pictures of Lucas' hands and feet in the living room.
6. Get Kealan's Auburn pictures and college diploma framed.
7. Hang curtains in the living room.
8. Sew Lucas a blanket.
9. Organize the pantry. (since Lucas has been born the pantry has become so disorganized)
10. Organize and find a home for the clutter that always gathers on the kitchen counter.
11. Baby proof the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. (I will have to do this one very soon because Lucas can already crawl but he has not discovered that the cabinets open yet)
12. Go though Lucas' closet and put away the clothes that doesn't fit him anymore.

I was going though the junk drawer and found a picture of me. I thought I would share a picture of me, Lucas, and Kealan when we were babies to see who Lucas looks more like. I would love to get your what you think.

The Park

Kealan and I took Lucas to the park this morning for a walk and some fun in the sun. I sat Lucas in the grass to take pictures of him and he was more fascinated with the grass then the camera. I think it was the first time I have sat him in the grass without a blanket. So of course he wants to touch everything around him.

Kiddie Pool Fun

I few weeks ago Kealan and I decided to wash the cars and we let Lucas have some fun in the kiddie pool.

I love playing with the cups.

Daddy squirted Mommy with the water hose and when she jumped up and screamed it made me cry. 

Then, Mommy sang me the ABC song and I felt a lot better.
